In fact, quite the opposite can happen and it is easy to spiral down a hole of self doubt, <\/span>fear and feeling powerless. A lot of this stems from just not knowing what to expect and getting <\/span>into the comparison game with others in your industry. If you feel disempowered in your <\/span>business, then the likelihood of success drastically diminishes. Especially as women, we are <\/span>often conditioned to not be in positions of power throughout our lives, so being aware of how <\/span>you may be holding yourself back is will give you the best chance to combat anything in the way <\/span>of your sweet success. For some extra guidance along the way, here are my top tips on how to <\/span>empower<\/a> yourself as a female entrepreneur:<\/span><\/div>\n
\"How<\/div>\n

1.\u00a0<\/span>Get Comfortable Taking Risks <\/span><\/h2>\n
The very nature of entrepreneurship is all about risk taking. In order to truly be empowered and <\/span>reach huge levels of success, you absolutely need to get comfortable with being uncomfortable, <\/span>aka, taking major risks. The process of starting any venture is riddled with uncertainty as there <\/span>
\nis no one direct path to success. Each person\u2019s path looks completely different, but one thing <\/span>that everyone at the top has in common, is that they took risks and continue to take risks over <\/span>and over again. Learning to be your own boss and create your dream life means betting on <\/span>yourself and not looking back. Taking risks that feel scary yet exciting is usually a sign that you <\/span>are on the right track. Learning to love this discomfort will take you much further than any <\/span>comfort zone ever will.<\/span><\/div>\n

2. Redefine your definition of success:<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span><\/h2>\n
So many people in the entrepreneur space define success as a monetary amount, and while <\/span>financial success is important, being driven by monetary goals will have you burnout out faster <\/span>than anything else will. Defining your success by the people you help and the progress you <\/span>make in your business rather than comparing yourself to the success of others will be a much <\/span>more satisfying benchmark that will lead you to the right path. What may seem like failures are <\/span>only necessary learning opportunities that set you up to be a much better and successful <\/span>entrepreneur in the long run. <\/span><\/div>\n

3. Celebrate Every Little Win: <\/span><\/h2>\n
Entrepreneurship is so much more about the journey than some arbitrary destination so <\/span>celebrating every little win will make it that much more enjoyable and keep you going when <\/span>times get tough. Basking in the joy of the first time you reach a new milestone and take exciting <\/span>risks in your business that will take it to the next level are great reasons to celebrate. Each and <\/span>every mini celebration helps to keep the momentum going and you should give yourself credit <\/span>for the amazing journey you are on that so few people are brave enough to embark on.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
