This adds up to\nPinterest being a powerful traffic driver that can help you market your\nbusiness for months, or even years, with a single pin. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In fact, it&#8217;s one of the most powerful search tools\non the Internet, primarily because of its visual nature. <strong>Here are some key tips and tricks for incorporating Pinterest into your\nmarketing mix:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Think of\nPinterest as a search engine first<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To get the most marketing mileage out of\nPinterest, think of it first and foremost as a search engine. Include keywords\nin titles and descriptions that are both compelling and searchable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, aim to be helpful rather than spammy\nwith descriptions. Avoid copying and pasting the same description and title for\nmultiple images. A\nboard should have at least 20-30 relevant pins in it. Optimize your site for speed,\ntoo\u2014this will decrease bounce rate and lead to higher conversions. <br>\n<br>\nBe sure to add the \u201csave\u201d button to your website so visitors can save new pins\nthat their audiences will see, which will drive new traffic back to your site.\nIn fact, a save button can increase saves up to 500%.Likewise, install the \u201cRich Pin\u201d code on your website to\nautomatically include extra information on each pin. Rich pins work well for\nrecipes, articles, apps, and products (which include the price).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<script async=\"\" id=\"_ck_454648\" src=\"https:\/\/forms.convertkit.com\/454648?v=7\"><\/script>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Consider\nthe user first and the algorithm next<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Like other platforms, there is an\nengagement-driven algorithm on Pinterest. People see a piece of content and either\nengage with it or don\u2019t. The more people engage with it, the more it gets\nshown. High engagement allows pins to live and provide value for years to come,\nso it\u2019s worth it to create pins that are helpful and engaging. If you do this,\nthe algorithm will always reward you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, on Pinterest, the first five pins\nyou save each day are prioritized for delivery, so make them count.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Show up\nwith great content every day<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The good news is that you don&#8217;t have to just pin\nyour own content all of the time. In fact, users expect brands to offer\nwell-curated boards that feature other people\u2019s content as well as their owned\ncontent. Therefore, you\u2019re not expected to create multiple articles and blog\nposts each day to add to Pinterest. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can use a scheduler like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tailwindapp.com\/i\/twhoneybook\">Tailwind<\/a> or Viraltag to do most of the heavy lifting, but you may want to schedule 10 minutes a day to organically pin what you like.
