They\u2019re bite-sized and can pack a punch if you use them strategically to showcase your personality and build a connection, and we know that Instagram is pushing them hard to encourage us to use the feature.\u00a0<\/span> But once you\u2019ve passed the showing up bravely hurdle, the next step is just as tricky \u2013 creating Reels without sacrificing a significant chunk of your valuable time each week.\u00a0<\/span> That\u2019s exactly why I\u2019m such a firm advocate of batch-creating your content\u2013it saves you time and doesn\u2019t drain you of your creative energy. I spend one week each month creating content for the next month and then scheduling it out so that I have three weeks where I don\u2019t even have to think about my content marketing\u2013it\u2019s working for me, and I\u2019m working in my business.<\/span> The problem? There\u2019s no way to schedule Reels at this time. Anytime you find yourself scrolling through Instagram, take note of the Reels that you think you could put your own spin on for your business. Then, hit the save button. When the time comes for you to start creating your Reels, you\u2019ll have inspiration (and the audio) right there at your fingertips \u2013 eliminating the \u201cI need to post but have no idea what to post\u201d dilemma.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Step one: make a plan<\/h2>\n

All good marketing starts with a plan. When you sit down to work on your content calendar, take note of which posts will be Reels, what the subject of the video will be, and what sound you\u2019re planning to use.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
